Called the Mother Church of Country Music, the Ryman Auditorium is a beautiful venue where the Grand Ole Opry shot to popularity. While they are usually hosting concerts in the many evenings, there are guided tours offered during the day with lots of photos and country music history. Make sure you do the behind the scenes and go backstage!

If you haven't had a Goo Goo Cluster, you are missing out. Good news! If you don't make it here, Goo Goos are EVERYWHERE (including the airport).
This is the first Deirdre stopped on my first visit to Nashville in 2004. It is a great location to wander through. Located in the center of the park, The Parthenon stands as a re-creation of ancient Greece, and is a popular place to take fun photos. There is even an art museum located inside!

This is one of our favorite places to take out of town guests (and ourselves)! The visit offers an awesome (quick) tour and tasting. Corsair Distillery is celebrated for innovative whiskeys, gins, and unusual spirits.
Writers Rounds are one of the coolest aspects of the Nashville music scene! Highly encourage a visit to the Listening Room. You never know who might pop in and perform!
